Are you allowed to stay in college dorms even during vacations in US? - us vacations
I wonder how you pay for room and board, after all, and I know that universities do not fully close the doors. Students also go away from home with nowhere to have.

Now, one might think that all allow the possibility of staying on campus, now is not it? The truth is, it depends on the college you plan to attend. I lived in a dormitory, while at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus were not allowed to remain on campus for Christmas and winter holidays. The term does not include holiday and we had to pack her things and moves into his house for a month. Then we are back in the same room as before and for the second half.
ReplyDeleteWell, I attend St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, and they allow you to break on campus for all winter, summer, spring to remain independent. He is an impostor, if you have more of these days, because they are not considered part of "normal year" in the school canteen and pay no open campus during this time either! Many foreign students have no choice but to extra, or do what many now and get an apartment on campus after the first semester to be paid. After signing a lease yearsand guarantees a place to live.
When I was in Las Vegas, international students who rent rooms in a house for month, or they had to pay for the hotel rooms and that was to remain expensive for them!
It depends on the university. From my experience, universities, with many international students are better at this than others. Many of those who take into account their students, either / Christmas / New Year and summer, especially if they have the dormitories during the summer for other groups that do it for a conference or a lot of renovations and repairs to ask during this time. At Christmas, there is often not on campus, especially in the time between the holidays.
ReplyDeleteSome universities have courses for foreign students to remain, but most dorms are closed for breaks.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to travel, you must obtain a permit from the University Speacial. , When selecting a school, an e-mail and ask the international consultant.
ReplyDeleteHas Back in my student days, that you are insured, but if the session is ended (end of January until the end of May to say), or pay for special arrangements between the words and / or the next school year --- L 'Summer is always longer be enrolled in classes and must remain in the summer ...... Room was not really a problem, but you often pay in the cafeteria at other festivals.
ReplyDeleteThis is changing with the college / university.
You will stay during the holidays.
ReplyDeletedepends on the college but usuallly Can.
ReplyDeleteNormally, if you pay more to stay during this period.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the University ... Sometimes they can be ... You need to contact your department of residence life.

ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays.
If you are a student can stay in another state or country on accommodation on the campus to campus during the summer, but will pay for the guests as if you are in the class. Some colleges and universities to close for holidays rooms for maintenance, so there may be another place for some time. What external / non-students, most do on the campus to its facilities for groups - namely the key areas of the spirit of sports, religious groups, etc.
